Hello dear readers on Good Error mag, my name is J.Lamotta Suzume. I'm a singer, producer and songwriter from Tel Aviv, based partly in Berlin since 2014. A few weeks ago Good Error Mag reached out to me to ask if I'm interested in writing a monthly column for my Japanese listeners and I was very excited about this idea so we're gonna give it a try. This could be a beautiful opportunity for me to communicate and share with you new work, music that I like listening to and some thoughts I have in mind.

GOOD ERROR MAGAZINEの読者のみんな、はじめまして！J.Lamotta すずめです。
テルアビブ出身のシンガー / プロデューサー / 作曲家で、2014年からベルリンに拠点をいち部移して活動しています。
数週間前にGOOD ERRORチームから「日本のファンに向けて、月刊コラムを書いてみない？」って声をかけてもらったんだけど、すごくいいアイデアで、とても嬉しかったので、やってみよう！ってことになりました。
このコラムを通して、私の新作、お気に入りの音楽、考えなんかをみんなと共有できたら素晴らしいな。

This time I would like to introduce my third single in my mother tongue called "Twist" featuring the Israeli Rapper and Actor - Michael Moshonov. I met Michael on a set for an Israeli film and ever since then music kept us connected. It's been a long journey for me till I arrived at this point of releasing music in Hebrew, my mother tongue, and I have to say that it feels refreshing and it gives me inspiration. Many people from the industry told me I shouldn't do it because I already have an international crowd listening to my music and the Israeli market is very small, but something deep in my heart told me I should do it regardless. It's an exciting musical journey, Thank you for streaming and listening from far away, even when you don't understand the language. If you haven't checked it out yet I have attached below the new music video and song for streaming.

今回は私の母国語であるヘブライ語による３枚目のシングル「Twist」についてお知らせ。客演はイスラエル人 ラッパー / 俳優のマイケル･モショノフ(Michael Moshonov)。
マイケルとはあるイスラエル映画の撮影現場で知り合ったんだけど、音楽を通して交流を続けてきた。私はこれまで主に英語で歌ってきたから、ヘブライ語で歌う曲をリリースするのは新鮮で、刺激的。でも、私はすでにグローバルにファンを獲得していたし、イスラエルの音楽市場は大きくないので、多くの業界人から「ヘブライ語楽曲はリリースすべきじゃない」ってアドバイスされたけど、私の心の奥底でやった方がいいって感がして、それに従ったの。結果は…、とてもエキサイティングな音楽の旅となった。リリックの意味がわからなくても、離れた場所からストリーミングで「Twist」を聴いてくれたみんな、本当にありがとう！

Music recommendations-
Speaking about foreign languages, lately I'm enjoying listening to this newish album by the Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis - Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞. Most of the album is in Spanish and I love the sound of the language. I hope you'll enjoy this recommendation.

外国語の音楽だと、最近はコロンビア系アメリカ人シンガー、カリ･ウチス(Kali Uchis)の『Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞』がお気に入り。収録曲の大半がスペイン語楽曲だけど、スペイン語の響きは大好き。みんなも気に入ってくれると嬉しいな。

イスラエル テルアビブ出身のシンガー / プロデューサー/ 作曲家。モロッコ系移民の両親のもと伝統的なアラビア音楽が流れる家庭に育った。ブルース、ジャズ、HIPHOP、ソウル、R&Bと自身のルーツからのテーストを自作のビートに落とし込み、クールでモダンな世界観で支持を集める。日本でも、2018年、2019年と2年連続でBLUE NOTE TOKYOでの公演を成功させた。
